This is a documentary of "camp at AOBE" open in every summer by Komonken (committee on children's Issues). "I see!! That is living together"
Aobe, located upstream of the Ohi in Shizuoka Prefecture in Japan, what was once a primary school house. Every summer, us, friends of Komonken spend a week there. We play together, both children and adults. It has been continued through 30 years. But this year's camp was a little different from ordinary. Someone said we should shoot ourselves movie, and we wrote scenario by ourselves and shoot many scenes, and staff of the film production came with us. They shoot us as the documentary. As ordinary camp so, someone is getting lost and someone searches him, getting rid of shit, playing in the river or a mock cavalry battle, everyone play happily and seriously quarrel. There is sticking to that we are not volunteers. We enjoyed filmmaking too. We have each different personality. So we do favorite things and dislike things too. It is many things mix up. But Aobe has always been so.
